Hugh Bullard, D.D.S. – Pediatric Dentist
Dr Hugh Bullard is a Pediatric Dentist with over 30 years of experience. He attended LSU School of Dentistry for both his dental education as well as a Pediatric Dentistry Residency and practiced in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina, when he relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas. He and his family are now back in Louisiana and he is looking forward to serving pediatric, adolescent and special needs patients.

In addition to being in private practice since 1985, Dr Bullard also served on faculty at LSU School of Dentistry Department of Pediatric Dentistry as well as being the Pediatric Dentist on the Children’s Hospital Cleft Lip & Palate Oral Facial Anomalies Team and was Chairman of the Pediatric Dental Department at Children’s Hospital New Orleans for many years.

While in Little Rock, he was in private practice and on staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, but is happy to be “home” serving the needs of the children of Southern Louisiana again.

Pediatric Dentistry is Dr. Bullard’s passion and he has a unique way of caring for pediatric patients. His colleagues have the utmost confidence in his care, patients and parents love him, and he now has former patients bring their own children to see him because of the positive dental experiences that he and his staff provide.

Dr Bullard is the proud father of five and now enjoys being a grandfather.


Jack Coburn, D.M.D.
Dr. Jack Coburn was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College and completed dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Coburn is currently a resident in LSU’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.


Dave Colburn, D.D.S.
Born and raised in Chalmette, Dr. Colburn is a resident of Algiers. After graduating from Holy Cross High School, Dr. Colburn earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry and then completed a 2-year General Practice Residency at Charity Hospital. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Colburn is also a member of both the Crescent City and Spear Study Clubs. He is a member of the Algiers Rotary Club where he served 2 years as president. He is married to Jamie Michelli Colburn and they have 2 daughters, Ashley and Emily.


Khaliq Khan

Khaliq Khan, D.D.S.
Dr. Khan was born in New Orleans. He attended Loyola University in New Orleans and Northwestern University in Chicago. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Khan’s hobbies include watching the NBA and NFL, playing a wide variety of sports and traveling. He¹s dedicated to continuing to enhance his knowledge and skill in the dental field in order to best serve the local communities he loves.


Joseph R. Lacoste Jr., DDS
Dr. Lacoste was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After graduating high school from The New Orleans Academy in 1972, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1980.Dr. Lacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He always finds time to be with family and friends, and enjoys fishing and playing music.


Eric M. Macaluso, D.D.S. – Orthodontist
Dr. Eric M. Macaluso is a life-long resident of the New Orleans metropolitan area and a proud alumnus of Jesuit High School and the University of New Orleans. After receiving his doctorate of dental surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Macaluso completed his orthodontic residency at Louisiana State University.


Amir Maki, D.M.D.
Dr. Amir Maki is a dedicated and accomplished dentist with a diverse educational background and a deep commitment to patient care. After initially pursuing engineering studies for four years, Dr. Maki redirected his passion towards dentistry, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry-Biology from West Chester University. Recognizing his true calling, he went on to attend the prestigious Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he obtained his dental degree.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to expand his skills, Dr. Maki pursued further specialization in oral surgery. He completed two rigorous one-year internships in oral surgery, one at Temple University and another at Louisiana State University (LSU). These experiences provided him with invaluable hands-on training, honing his surgical expertise and deepening his understanding of complex dental procedures.

Currently, Dr. Maki is pursuing his medical degree (MD) while concurrently serving as an oral surgery resident with LSU. This unique combination of medical and dental training positions him at the forefront of his field, blending clinical excellence and a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Dr. Maki’s unwavering commitment to his patients is evident in hi approach. With a warm and empathetic demeanor, he ensures that every individual feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. Driven by a patient-centered philosophy, he tailors treatment plans to address each person’s specific needs and strives to provide the highest standard of care.


Seaira Miles, D.D.S.
Dr. Seaira Miles is from the New Orleans area. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Miles is passionate about caring for and connecting with her patients.


Yen Nguyen, D.D.S.
Dr. Yen Nguyen was born in California, but she was raised in Uptown New Orleans. She received her Bachelor of Science from Xavier University of Louisiana and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Nguyen spends her free time traveling, spending time with her family and enjoying good food.


Jeffrey Wiggins, D.D.S.
Born and raised in Slidell, Dr. Wiggins is a proud lifelong resident. He is a Slidell High School graduate; he also earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is married to Amy Hall Wiggins, and they have 2 sons, Brandt and Cole.


Sean M. Wilson, D.D.S.
Dr. Sean Wilson a passionate and dedicated dentist specializing in general dentistry with a focus on cosmetic, implant and prosthodontic dentistry. Born and raised amidst the vibrant culture of New Orleans, Dr. Wilson’s journey into dentistry was guided by a desire to serve his community and enhance smiles in the most comprehensive way possible. After completing his undergraduate and masters studies, Dr. Wilson pursued his dental education at the esteemed Howard University College of Dentistry, where he excelled academically and demonstrated exceptional clinical skills. As a resident at the renowned Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Wilson continues to refine his expertise and expand his knowledge in the field.

Justin Wu, D.D.S. 
Dr. Wu was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Kansas and his dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Wichita State University. Dr. Wu has an identical twin brother and enjoys golf, college basketball and football, reading, flying, and playing with his dogs. He is also strongly committed to continuing education in dentistry.
